Why We Built This Site
Michigan court access can be difficult to route because Montcalm County uses a split clerk structure. The Montcalm County Clerk / Clerk of the Circuit Court keeps circuit files, 64B keeps district matters, and Probate and Juvenile have their own roles. MiCOURT provides informational case history, not the official court record. This resource brings together official court contacts, record boundaries, copy routes, and public search instructions without claiming to be a court service.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: official paths for criminal court dockets and civil court dockets
- Settings: ways to read the court schedule and confirm a hearing with the proper office
- Search information: how to use docket search fields and county court selection
- Copy requests: clerk-held court case records, certification, and access limits
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, not a Michigan court, clerk office, or public agency. It cannot access a nonpublic file, retrieve an official docket, alter a hearing setting, issue certification, file a document, or advise on a specific case.
- We cannot obtain an official court file for a visitor
- We cannot schedule, reset, or verify a hearing
- We cannot seal, amend, or remove a court record
- We cannot provide certified copies or legal advice
- We cannot guarantee that an office's procedures remain unchanged
Only the clerk or court that keeps the case may provide the current official record or a certified copy. The appropriate Montcalm County custodian controls that file.
Search Partners
Some content pages display search tools supplied by third parties. Those providers operate their own services, prices, and privacy practices. A referral arrangement may support the resource when a visitor chooses a paid service, but those tools are not operated by the Montcalm County courts or this resource.
